Conflict Management - Field Level

The conflict management strategy can be specified at the field level on the field mapping screen. A conflict is detected when the same record and the same field is modified in two applications at the same time. The selected conflict management strategy defines what processing occurs when a conflict is detected. For example, the "Fixed" strategy will save the changed field value in the Fixed system. 

To change the default Conflict Management strategy, click on the Conflict Management icon which will open a popup for you to change it to the desired Conflict Management strategy. See the above image. After you select a conflict management strategy, the screen displays the following labels against the fields.

FIXED - Fixed

FIRST – First In

LAST – Last In

Swap – Swap

Unsupported Fields:

Conflict strategy is not applicable for the below fields

  3. Worklog
  4. Issue links
