How to add numbering column for a table in confluence?

For syncing the table level information, one should have a numbering column. This article will explain on how can you add a numbering column in your template.

Step-by-step guide

Click on "Edit" for the template you want to use for syncing the records

  1. Select a table under a heading, where you want to add the numbering column

  2. Click on the "Cog wheel" in the toolbar, and check the checkbox "Insert numbering column".

  3. This will add an auto-sequencing column to the table, and hence if you add any new rows the numbering will increment automatically.

  4. Set the column name as "#" for ConnectALL to consider this as a numbering column.
